God created this world as a perfect place without sin and violence.
Man chose to disobey God and that is how this all got started.
Sin separates us from God. |

| The Bible tells us.... |

for all have sinned and
fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) |

the wages of sin is death, (Romans 6:23a) |

| What is sin? |
| |

Sin is anything we do wrong
like.... |

not telling the truth.
cheating on a test.
thinking bad thoughts.... |

| |
I think you get the picture of sin. |

But, |
| |
there is some good news also |
| |
| |
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23b) |

have not hurt anybody
don't cheat or steal
help other people
go to church sometimes |

Isn't that enough?
No! The Bible says.... |

For it is by grace you have
been saved, through faith-- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of
God-- not by works, so that no one can boast.
(Ephesians 2:8-9) |

| How do I take advantage of this grace and get this gift? |
| |
| The Bible says.... |

| |
That if you confess with
your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him
from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13) |

| When you ask Jesus to save you he comes into your life, removes your sin and is the bridge between you and God. |

| How do I do this? |
| |
| Talk to God in your own words and use this prayer as a guideline. |
| |
 |
"Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and my sin has separated me from You. Thank You for sending Jesus to die in my place. I want to turn from my sin and ask Jesus to come into my heart and forgive me of my sin. Please come into my life and save me. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen." |

| Always remember what the Bible says happens after you ask Jesus into your heart. |

| Whoever believes in the Son (that's you if you asked Jesus into your heart!) has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him." (John 3:36) |
